Welcome to the home of the 14U Blue Collar Bulldogs Select Baseball Team, a highly competitive travel baseball program based in Nassau County, New York.

This website is dedicated specifically to our 14U Select team, which is part of the larger Blue Collar Bulldogs organization. The organization fields teams from 8U through 14U and works in partnership with the Northeast Aces to provide additional teams, age groups and playing opportunities.

Our 14U Select team is substantially sponsored, allowing us to provide a level of training, facilities, technology and competition that would typically cost families considerably more through many travel baseball programs. Our goal is to put those resources directly into player development and the overall baseball experience.

The Bulldogs compete in summer and fall leagues and play a challenging tournament schedule both locally and out of state. Our teams have competed in events run by Hot Stove, Boys of Summer, PBR, Bases Loaded, Lasorda Legacy Park (formerly Baseball Heaven), Perfect Game, Cooperstown TBR, Ripken Baseball, Shipyard Park, USABL and others. Our 14U team typically plays two to three Perfect Game (PG) tournaments each season, including both local and travel events.

Outdoor practices are generally held at NYIT, John Maccarone Memorial Stadium in Glen Cove, and the Salisbury Park Drive Ballfields in East Meadow. During the winter and in inclement weather, the team trains at two indoor facilities in Glen Cove: Cove Sports and Bulldog Academy.

In addition to regular team practices and games, players have access to specialized instruction through programs such as Arm Academy, Catchers Metrx and Hit Club at Cove Sports, providing additional development and instruction from current and former professional players, coaches and scouts.

Our coaching staff combines committed team coaches with professional instruction. The 14U team is coached by former college players and current school coaches, with additional support from professional baseball coaches. We believe this creates an ideal environment: competitive and demanding, but also positive, supportive and focused on teaching and developing players the right way.

The Blue Collar Bulldogs organization was founded in 2014 by former NCAA All-American, Texas Rangers draft pick and minor league player Coach Dominic Gatti.

We intentionally maintain a team-centered environment in which players receive meaningful coaching, individual attention and opportunities to develop rather than simply becoming one player among dozens in an age group.
